After Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) launched PlayStation VR in 2016 the company followed that up the following year with the PlayStation Aim controller. The idea was to make shooting videogames feel more realistic which it did a good job at. There are a number of videogames the controller supports, so if you’re looking for something new to shoot here’s what to look for.

Over the last three years the PlayStation Aim controller has built up a reasonable collection of compatible titles as you’ll see below. Everyone will have their favourites with Farpoint, Firewall Zero Hour, Borderlands 2 VR and Arizona Sunshine some of the best examples.
- Arizona Sunshine
- Beat Blaster
- Borderlands 2 VR
- Bravo Team
- ChromaGun
- Crisis VRigade
- Crisis VRigade 2
- Dick Wilde
- Dick Wilde 2
- Doom VFR
- Drone Striker
- DWVR
- Evasion
- Farpoint
- Firewall Zero Hour
- Honor and Duty: Arcade Edition
- Honor and Duty: D-Day
- Operation Warcade
- Pancake House
- Rom: Extraction
- Special Delivery
- Scraper: First Strike

- The Brookhaven Experiment
- Unearthing Mars 2: The Ancient War

As for what’s to come in the future, Rebellion’s Sniper Elite VR is a definite as VRFocus used the setup during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2019, saying: “From start to finish Sniper Elite VR certainly impressed, from the gun handling to the movement and visual design.”
At the moment nothing else has been confirmed for PlayStation Aim but that could easily change before the end of the year. If that happens VRFocus will update the article.
