There’s been a significant lack of official new songs for the PC version of Beat Saber, namely due to Beat Games concentrating on the PlayStation VR release which took place last month. Since that happened the studio has released a couple of updates, including a new Expert+ mode a couple of weeks ago. The latest is much more along the lines of what fans want, more tracks, with an exclusive tune from American electronic duo Knower.
The track is called One Hope and it’s debuting on Beat Saber for free. One Hope will be a timed exclusive coming to music platforms like Spotify in the near future.
Beat Games are big fans of the band, stating on Twitter: “KNOWER is one of our most favorite bands so we hope you will enjoy their beats as much as we do!”
Excluding the massive Beat Saber modding scene which has been keeping the PC title alive with plenty of tracks, One Hope is only the second official track to arrive since Beat Saber launched earlier this year. The other was Angel Voices which the team released as an easter egg player’s had to unlock before deciding to make it freely available a few days later.
The addition of One Hope also includes a couple of other updates: Cubes move and jump as in v0.11.2., and the practice mode now supports 200% speed.
Beat Games have more Christmas updates planned. When details are released VRFocus will let you know.
