Get 10% off VRDays Europe Tickets, Opens Early November
In less than three weeks VRDays Europe will be holding its 6th event, becoming one of the largest in Europe specialising in virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR). As VRFocus has previously reported, VRDays Europe 2020 will be going digital for the first time and as media partner we’ve got a discount code for tickets.
VRDays Europe 2020 will have a mixture of events going on, from live-streamed talks to a virtual exhibition. “We’ve created an innovative and special format for our 6th edition,” said Benjamin DeWit, Founder and Festival Director of VRDays Europe in a statement.” The Vision & Impact conference will be live-streamed on Vimeo. There is a virtual trade show in the Laval Virtual World where you can meet and visit the booths with your avatar.
“We present the Immersive Funding Market in Zoom with talented startups, creators and researchers, the Church of VR will feature award-winning creative projects of the year in VR, and we’ve produced a printed magazine with exclusive content for everyone and anyone.”
There are several ways to get involved. The Community Pass gives free access to the virtual exhibition and the Church of VR, while the full pass for €99 EUR (previously €139) gives you access to everything apart from in-person attendance at the Vision & Impact conference. Use VRFocus code VRD20-VRF-ALLP to get a 10% discount off any ticket.
VRDays Europe 2020 runs from 4th – 6th November with over 100 speakers now confirmed for the festival. These include Director of XR Research at Unity, Timoni West; China President at HTC, Alvin Wang Graylin and Jeremy Bailenson, professor of communication at Stanford University. Take a look at the full programme to see what’s in store.
The event is one of many who have needed to move to a digital format. Some of the best examples have come from the film industry, such as September’s Venice VR Expanded or BFI’s LFF Expanded which is still running until tomorrow.
