New PlayStation VR Mega Pack Includes 5 Games and Camera Adaptor
The sales season has descended in earnest and just like Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) likes to do every year, its got a new PlayStation VR bundle. This new deal features five top-end videogames and most importantly for all you PlayStation 5 owners, the PlayStation Camera Adaptor.
Last year’s Mega Pack had quite the selection of titles available, with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR and Resident Evil Biohazard featuring. They’ve both been dropped in favour of London Studios’ Blood & Truth and Polyarc’s Moss. Returning for another year are Everybody’s Golf VR, Astro Bot Rescue Mission and PlayStation VR Worlds.
The pack includes those five titles (digital downloads) the PlayStation VR headset, PlayStation Camera and that all-important adaptor if you have the new console. Just like previous Mega Packs, there are no PlayStation Move controllers included (three of the games support the motion controllers) which are getting more and more difficult to get hold of at a decent price.
If you have bought a PlayStation 5 it’s worth remembering that none of the PlayStation VR titles will work with the new controller. They all need a DualShock 4, fine if you’ve upgraded but another expense if you haven’t.
SIE says the PlayStation VR Mega Pack will be launching in Europe, Australia and New Zealand this month. No regional pricing has been released so you’ll have to check local retailers. 2019’s pack was £299.99 so expect a similar price.
Should all those videogames not be enough then PlayStation VR has more on the way, with Swords of Gargantua recently confirmed for December. As further PlayStation VR updates are released, VRFocus will let you know.
