Oculus’ Summer Sale has Begun for one Week Only
2020 has been quite the year with most people stuck at home looking for new ways to entertain themselves. Any sale is a good way to help in that endeavour so with the Oculus Summer Sale now in motion it’s a good time to expand that library of content for Oculus Quest or Rift S.
The summer sale runs until this Sunday, 9th August 2020 providing individual game discounts as well as Daily and Duo Pack deals for Oculus Quest owners. For example, at the moment Down the Rabbit Hole has a reduction of 26%, dropping the cost to £10.99 for today. Duo Packs currently listed include SUPERHOT VR & Pistol Whip for £24.99 and Vacation Simulator x Real VR Fishing for £25.49.
Some of the best deals for Oculus Quest include Moss for £14.99 (a 34% discount), Creed: Rise to Glory for £14.99 (a 34% discount), Quest exclusives Journey of the Gods (25% off) and Shadow Point (26% off). You’ll need to check back each day to see which offers change.
For Oculus Rift/Rift S owners, there are no rotating deals just an extensive selection of discounted videogames. There are some massive savings to be had such as Seeking Dawn which is down to £4.49 thanks to an 80% reduction. Other titles with big cuts include Arizona Sunshine (60% off), Sprint Vector (69% off), Operation Warcade (73% off), Form (63%) and VR Furballs – Demolition (50% off),
So hopefully there should be something in the sale which catches your eye or possibly one that you’ve been pondering about buying, just not at full price.
As it’s now August there’s only a month or so to go until the first digital Oculus Connect event. While no dates have been confirmed the growing expectation is that Facebook may reveal the next iteration of the Oculus Quest thanks to a selection of images arriving last month. As further details are released about upcoming VR hardware and software, VRFocus will keep you updated.
