Open Call for the Immersive Learning Research Network Conference; Takes Place June 2019
Are you part of an institution or organisation involved in the field of XR research and immersive learning? Well, the Immersive Learning Research Network (iLRN) Conference would like to hear from you to take part in its June event at the University of Westminster.
This will be the fifth annual iLRN conference run by an international team of developers, educators, and research professionals collaborating to develop the scientific, technical, and applied potential of immersive learning. The London conference looks to discuss, debate, and grow this area of XR research and development.
iLRN invites organizations and institutions of all types and sizes to attend and showcase their research or applications to some of the brightest minds in this field during the conference’s Industry Day on Wednesday, 26 June.
The theme for iLRN 2019 is: ‘Heart of the City: Immersive Learning in Urban Environments’. “More than 50% of the world’s population now lives in cities. Successfully navigating the colourful and incredibly diverse ecosystems of urban settings requires a refined set of skilled intelligence gained through experience. iLRN’s 2019 Conference in London, UK will be a unique opportunity for architects, urban planners, sustainability experts, and others focused on life and learning in the city to focus on the use of immersive learning environments for improving cities and people’s lives,” the synopsis explains.
In addition to seeking companies for the Industry Day, iLRN is also looking for corporate sponsorship to ensure it can continue not only the conference but helping the industry as a whole.
