Physical PlayStation Release of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted in December
Steel Wool Studios’ Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted launched last year for multiple headsets, a collection of ScottGames’ mini-game horror franchise which still manages to frighten gamers with classic jump scares. Now, Maximum Games has announced it’ll release physical copies of the title for PlayStation.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted brings a lot of the classic mini-games from the horror universe alongside several new ones specifically for VR. If you’ve managed to completely miss the franchise the premise revolves around surviving short encounters with killer animatronics which come to life every night.
Don’t let cute names like Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Springtrap, The Mangle, Funtime Foxy, and Circus Baby fool you, these robots have sharp wits and even sharper teeth. Encounters can include playing a security guard keeping an eye on monitors or crawling into claustrophobic ventilation systems to repair them.
Whatever the level each one is designed to keep you on your toes as you try to complete the challenge whilst staying alive and looking out for glistening teeth. “Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted has great visual impact, and would definitely make for some funny YouTube videos with people trying it for the first time,” VRFocus said in its review.
Maximum Games will release Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted for PlayStation 4 (with PlayStation VR support) into retail locations on 15th December 2020.
Additionally, if you’re a big Five Nights at Freddy’s fan then Five Nights at Freddy’s: Core Collection arrives physically on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch 21st January, 2021. This isn’t VR compatible.
