VR Dungeon Crawler Legendary Tales Will Get a Massive New World Update Soon
The virtual reality co-op dungeon crawler Legendary Tales will soon have a massive new world update in an early access update.
The New World update was announced a few days ago and is intended to swap out its current starting hub and replace it with an area that is approximately 70 times larger.
Following the update, players can still meet their friends and visit a number of NPCs. However, players will have separate starting points for the different dungeons where they will find a lot more to explore in the world. The trailer below shows the latest update.
However, the developer announced that it is exploring different dungeon themes that it plans to add to the game soon. The developer is also hoping to launch randomized dungeons although it isn’t committing to this yet.
In the future, the developer will also introduce full quests such as mainline story missions as well as side objectives that allow the players to unlock new rewards. The developer will also add weapon crafting to the game.
There will also be smaller updates such as a new quick slot and changes to the skill tree, titles as well as new monster types.
The developer hasn’t revealed the final release date for the update but according to Urban Wolf, it is likely to come out later in the year.
Legendary Tales is a great co-op game with physics-driven action and plenty of fun. It will be interesting to see how the update improves the game further.
Legendary Tales is available on Steam only. There is no Quest version at the moment.
